SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN)— Sacramento police are investigating a shooting late Wednesday after gunfire struck equipment at a pop-up taco stand in the parking lot of an O'Reilly Auto Parts store on Del Paso Boulevard.
According to reports, the Sacramento Police Department received a three-round ShotSpotter activation in the area of the O'Reilly Auto Parts at 2421 Del Paso Blvd around 11:45 P.M.
Responding officers located a pop-up taco stand in the parking lot, where workers reported that two individuals wearing black clothing had fired shots before fleeing the area, according to reports.
No one was struck by the gunfire and no injuries were reported. Some of the taco stand's cooking equipment was struck by gunfire.
Officers located spent cartridge casings at the scene and began canvassing the surrounding area. According to reports, the individuals were last seen running toward Rio Linda Boulevard.
PSN observed officers remaining at the scene as the investigation continued. Crime scene investigators were collecting evidence and documenting the shooting scene.
No arrests have been reported and no additional description of the individuals was immediately available.
The investigation remains active.
