SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — Officers with the Sacramento Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop Thursday evening after observing a traffic violation in the area of Grand Avenue and Astoria Street, according to police.
Just before 7:30 p.m., the suspect vehicle failed to yield, prompting a brief pursuit. Authorities said the pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed into multiple parked cars in the 3800 block of Marysville Boulevard.
Police said the adult male driver and an adult female passenger were both transported to an area hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
No additional details about the original traffic violation or possible charges were immediately released Thursday night. The incident remains under investigation by the Sacramento Police Department.
