SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN)— Sacramento police have arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman found in the 2300 block of Rene Avenue earlier this week.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded just before midnight on June 11 to reports of a possible deceased female in the 2300 block of Rene Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Due to the circumstances surrounding the incident, Sacramento Police Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to take over the investigation. Detectives processed the scene, collected evidence and conducted witness interviews as they worked to determine the circumstances leading to the woman's death.
Police said the investigation remained active throughout the night and into the following day.
Following what the department described as relentless efforts by homicide detectives, investigators identified and located the suspect. Authorities arrested 25-year-old Rudy Hader of Sacramento, who was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on homicide-related charges.
According to the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office and court records, Hader was the target of a multi-agency investigation and SWAT operation in April of this year.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will release her name after next-of-kin notifications have been completed.
The circumstances surrounding the homicide remain under investigation.

Anonymous tips may also be submitted through the P3 Tips smartphone application. Tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
