SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (PSN) — Three adult men were taken to a hospital after a stabbing at an apartment complex, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
All three men knew one another.
According to the Sheriff’s Office’s preliminary account, the men were inside an apartment when one armed himself with a knife and stabbed another man. The third man tried to help the victim and was also cut.
The victim ran from the apartment, and the suspect chased him with the knife, officials said.
When deputies arrived, the suspect fled on foot. Deputies ordered him to drop the knife, but he refused and then stabbed himself, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
All three men were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions were unknown at the time of the agency’s update.
