SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — A 40-year-old Sacramento man was booked after a reported knife assault attempt near Eighth and J streets early Monday, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Officers responded just before 3 a.m. Oct. 26 to the 800 block of J Street for a disturbance involving a weapon. An adult male victim told officers a suspect had attempted to assault him with a knife. The victim reported no injuries, police said.
Police identified the suspect as Maurice Daniel, 40, of Sacramento, and said he was safely detained and booked on related charges. The department did not specify the charges in its statement.
