Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide in South Sacramento.
At 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a business at 4709 Florin Road for a robbery and shooting that just occurred.
When deputies arrived, they located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where she later died.
Sheriff’s detectives and crime scene investigators responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
The victim’s identity will be released by the Coroner’s office once notification has been made to the next-of-kin.
