POLICE: Homicide, Kari Ann Circle, South Sacramento

On Saturday, June 15, 2019, at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department were called to the area of Belleview Avenue and Kari Ann Circle regarding a shooting.

Officers arrived and located a male adult with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers administered first aid until relieved by fire department personnel who transported the victim to a local area hospital. Despite life saving measures, the male succumbed to his injuries.

Officers conducted an initial canvas of the area for witnesses and evidence. Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators have been called to the scene to take over the investigation. At this time, a motive for the shooting has not been determined.

The identity of the male victim who died will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office once next of kin has been notified.
