SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN)— Four people were injured early Sunday in a shooting near Granite Regional Park and a related vehicle crash several miles away, according to reports.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., Sacramento police officers responded to reports of gunfire near Cucamonga and Ramona avenues.
Officers located three women suffering from gunshot wounds. Two were transported to an area hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening. The third victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A short time later, officers responded to a related vehicle collision near Folsom Boulevard and State University Drive. At that scene, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The man was transported to an area hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.
The circumstances leading to the shooting and subsequent crash were not immediately released. Police have not provided information regarding a possible suspect or motive.
