Around 1:25 Saturday morning, Sacramento firefighters and police officers were dispatched to reports of a vehicle that crashed into a building on 3820 Broadway.
When crews arrived, they found a Kia Soul halfway inside glass panels on the front of the building.
The driver was the only person inside of the vehicle. After being medically cleared by paramedics, police officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver. The driver was eventually placed into handcuffs and taken into custody.
A contractor was dispatched to the scene to board up the damaged portion of the building.
This is the fourth time that Public Safety News has covered a vehicle into this same building, since 2014.
