At about 11 p.m. Monday, after investigation and surveilance, Deputies from the Sacramento Sheriff's Department, located and apprehended a wanted suspect, for discharging a firearm into a dwelling.
Deputies observed the wanted parolee at large, departing a known a residence in a silver van in the South Sacramento area. They trailed the suspect into Oak Park where they executed a felony stop on 4th Avenue, just east of Santa Cruz Way.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The driver and another passenger in the vehicle were also detained.
