Officers responded to the area due to a report of a subject breaking into a residence. After investigating this incident, officers determined a home invasion occurred. During the crime, the suspect assaulted the victims, stole money and fled the area. Officers conducted a thorough canvas of the area for witnesses and evidence. Additionally, officers conducted follow-up and this investigation remains active.
