Gun Arrest / Felony Resisting

Friday, September 21, at 1 a.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding subjects being inside of a vacant building that was supposed to be unoccupied. While checking the building, officers located two subjects who were hiding. One subject ran from the officers. While fleeing from the officers, the suspect tossed a loaded handgun. One officer sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. The suspect was arrested for felony resisting and gun charges.
