SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A reported shooting at Natomas High School prompted a large police response Friday afternoon, with at least one victim receiving CPR at the scene, according to police radio traffic.
The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded just after 3:30 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of Truxel Road.
Police spokesperson Anthony Gamble said in a preliminary statement that the victim is believed to be a student at the school. The condition of the victim has not been confirmed.
Authorities said no suspect information was immediately available.
