The Sacramento Police Department's Career Criminal Apprehension Team (CCAT) arrested a suspect wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Sacramento County.

Around 2 p.m. Monday, CCAT officers conducted a felony traffic stop in the area of Fruitridge Road and 65th Street Expressway. Officers believed their suspect was hiding inside the stopped vehicle.

The male suspect was found to be hiding in the backseat of the vehicle, and was safely taken into custody. The female driver was also taken into custody for assisting the suspect in fleeing custody.

The male suspect is wanted by the Sacramento Police Department and Sacramento County Sheriff's Department on multiple felony charges/warrants.

The suspect, confirmed by a Sheriff’s Spokesperson as 38-year-old Miguel Orozco, has yet to be booked into the Sacramento County jail system, so exact changes are not yet confirmed.

Miguel Orozco has been listed on the Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers website since September 18th, wanted for Sex Acts with a Child 10 years old or younger andLewd or Lascivious Acts with Child under 14.

The Sacramento County Superior Court shows a criminal case filed against Orozco as of September 10th for five counts for violation of Penal Code 288(A) - Lewd Acts With a Child Under 14 Years of Age, and one count for violation of Penal Code 288.7(A) - Sexual Acts with a Child Under 10 Years of Age.
