Sacramento Sheriff's Department Press Release
The suspect in yesterdays officer-involved shooting has been identified as 38-year-old Anton Lemon Moore (AKA: Anton Lemon Paris) of Rancho Cordova, California.
Moore remains hospitalized after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds during a violent gun battle with Sheriff’s Deputies yesterday afternoon where one Sheriff’s Deputy was wounded and another was killed in the line of duty.
Also shot during this violent confrontation was a bystander, who also remains hospitalized and is in stable condition.
Moore is expected to survive.
