Police say a total of 764 vehicles were screened during the operation. Officers conducted 68 driver’s license checks and issued 30 citations to drivers found to be unlicensed or driving on a suspended license. An additional 20 citations were issued for other violations.

The checkpoint is part of the department’s ongoing effort to improve roadway safety by identifying impaired and unlicensed drivers.
