A spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department stated: At approximately 11:22 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Alvarado Blvd regarding a report that someone had been shot.
Officers located a female adult victim who sustained at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
A second victim, a male adult, was also located with at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The investigation is currently ongoing.
