SACRAMENTO, Calif. (PSN) — A motorcycle rider has died following a collision with a vehicle near 24th St. and J St. in Sacramento on Saturday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene just before noon after receiving reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle collision. The motorcycle rider was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where they later succumbed to those injuries, police said.
“The investigation into the collision is still ongoing, and our officers remain on scene,” stated the Sacramento Police Department in a media release.
The identity of the motorcycle rider has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. Authorities have not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the collision.
