Just before midnight Friday, the Sacramento Police Department received an alert that a planted bait bike was in motion near S and 16th Streets.
Officers began tracking the signal which lead them to the area of 23rd and U Streets.
Officers executed a felony stop on a white Ford Escape. Two occupants of the vehicle were detained without incident.
The bait bike was located in the back of the vehicle.
